This time our trip continued fron San Francisco up north to the famous Redwood Trees in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park. What makes these trees so special is that they are the tallest and one of the most massive tree species on Earth.
Trip Start
Stops along Highway 1
Taking the Highway from San Fran it would take 4 hours to get to the park, but that would be no fun, so we decided to take Highway #1 along the coast to get there instead. A longer drive, but also some really nice views and stops along the way
In Humboldt Redwoods State Park
After a long drive we were happy to find our booked campsite and settle down for the next two days to explore the area..
