Disney World 2024

It was time to visit Florida for the first time! We got free tickets for Disney World, so off we went!

Arriving in Orlando airport is already a cool experience with the way the interior is designed.

For the next couple of days we would stay in the Disney resorts and for the final leg of the trip we'll be staying in an apartment further North to visit Universal, which will be a separate post.

For our first day we started in the Animal Kingdom and we were blown away by the sights there. Just the scale of phantasical landscapes built is truly amazing.

When first arriving at the central plaza there is the giant tree of life

Then we walked past this beautiful restaurant overlooking the water

to arrive in one of the newer sections modeled after Avatar

Some crazy rides here that require a good stomach and some patience to get through the lineups (30+ minutes is pretty normal for some).

Continueing on we walked past amazing sculptures

The Africa section has a safari ride where you can see a lot of animals like giraffes, elefants and lions while the Asia section has more water rides and monkys. All in all a tone of fun, and we would come here again on our last day to explore more.

For the second day we want to the Magic Kingdom which is again just incredible fun to explore. There is of course the magic castle, but also these rock formations with roller coster rides that look like they're taken out of a Western

and then also these ride on small boats with new surprises around every corner

Then when it got dark the magic continues. Fireworks and lit up buildings like The Crystal Palace here

Day three we made our way over to Epcot.

Here are little pavillions representing many countries from all over the world like China here

Again a lot of fun ride and interesting food options. Also a giant aquarium

The final stop were the Holleywood Studios, which probably has the most live shows. E.g. for stuntman or a Frozen play. Also a whole section dedicated to Star Wars.

There is one attraction that is part ride and part roleplay with actual actors that was a great experience. Overall had a great time here as well. I think for each park you need a day minimum to explore trhe attractions.

Besides the parks themself we also tried to explore some of the different resorts and loges since they are pretty incredible as well. For example getting around with the train

And here waiting for one near the Contemporary Resort

to then go to the Polynesian Village

Then we also took boats to get around

to the Floridian, all are a must see in my opinion.
