Biking in Spring

Since the lockdown started we have been looking for alternative activties and our favourite so far is to explore new areas around Vancouver (of course making sure we're socially distancing). Below a random complication of shart day tips we've done so far. Hope you can get some inspiration!

Port Moody & Belcarra Regional Park

This was a long one. Went all the way along Adanac St towards Burnaby Mountain, then North along to highway towards Port Moody and finally to Sasamat Lake in Belcarra Regional Park.

To get back we took the Skytrain from Port Moody back to Vancouver.

Iona Beach Regional Park

This trip took us down the Arbutus Greenway and then North of the airport towards Iona Beach. The last bit is the Iona Jetty that juts into the Strait of Georgia (read more here)

Pitt Meadows & Pitt Lake

Pitt Meadows is a real gem when it comes to nature and landscape. Also the land is very flat, which makes for some easy riding.
